Approach

How we think about heritage apartment styling before a single curtain is measured.

Family first, fabric second

Tiny Hands Story Interiors begins with the people who climb Bristol stairs with shopping bags and school instruments. Period features matter deeply, yet they serve daily life — not the other way around. Layouts and soft goods are judged by Tuesday mornings as much as by photographs.

Neighbourhood literacy

Clifton light differs from Redland shade; Victorian terraces toward Totterdown face different street noise than Park Street apartments. We stay local so recommendations reflect real weather, stone colour and commuting patterns rather than generic “period” mood boards.

Reversible respect

Where listed constraints or conservation settings apply, we treat them as design awareness: keep cornices clear, prefer freestanding storage, avoid irreversible fixings in our proposals. We do not replace your surveyor or solicitor; we keep styling proposals gentle on historic fabric.

Honest materials and fees

Consultations run £90–£210; packages £650–£4200. Detail lives on the pricing page.

Collaboration without clutter

You receive clear schedules, one contact person and decisions sequenced so colour, furnishings and furniture support each other. We avoid endless document loops; when a choice is needed, we present two or three grounded options rooted in your rooms. See process for the step-by-step path and about for who we are.
